Ada: But there is a lot in it. First, search. There is a new AI Reranker processor for Search API.
Ben: Your index still finds the results. Then a reranking model puts the best answer first.
Ada: Second, extractive question answering. Instead of writing a new answer, the model points at the part of your own text that answers the question.
Ben: Which means you can check it. Generative answers sound right. Extractive answers can be checked.
Ada: Then guardrails. There is a moderation guardrail, and a sensitive content filter that checks responses while they stream.
Ben: And chatbots get a ChatMemory interface, so you choose where the chat history lives.
Ada: Two deprecations to plan for: AI Search and AI CKEditor.
